Yesterday we celebrated Jack's 50th birthday. Happy Birthday Jack! Thanks for celebrating it with us!We started our work at the parsonage on Monday after a trip to the hardware store for some supplies. Our first task completed was to re-secure the towel bar in the children's bathroom.
Paul was the lucky one to have the first injury when a renegade putty knife decided to attack his nose. A little band-aid later and Paul is as good as new. Now he'll have a cool scar as a reminder of his trip to Unalaska!
We also replaced the kitchen faucet, fixed a leak under the sink, repaired damage done from wind blowing off the screen door, and probably some other little things that I'm forgetting now. All in all, a pretty productive first day!
I should have know who would need the first band aid! Kim, please don't baby him too much, he always seems to manage a boo-boo somehow. Keep up the great work! You are all in our prayers.
