Travel

After over 24 hours of driving, flying, and hanging out in airports, we were glad to be welcomed to Unalaska by Pastor Dan and his family. Here are some pictures from our travel experience.

Butch and Paul try to get some sleep while Jack relaxes during our 9 hour layover in Anchorage.

Our plane from Anchorage to Unalaska. Yes - we walked directly out onto the runway from our little plane which held about 30 people. We even had to wear earplugs on the flight because of the noise from the engines.
And this is where our luggage should have been coming out of, but the flight was overweight with just passengers, so our luggage got the opportunity to spend some more time in Anchorage. Our luggage decided to join us on Monday night and I was very glad to get my pajamas and thermal underwear! It's a little chilly here for me, but the three guys don't seem to mind it.

Here we are heading to the car in the airport parking lot with Pastor Dan and his family. We had no trouble at all finding the car in this parking lot!
